Gendi Primary School - Progress Update

The Gendi Primary school was built by the British in the 1940's and unsurprisingly the place is tired and in some areas hazardous.  It has over 770 students in 12 classrooms, some of which are very small and dark.

Water is erratic and the toilets were ..... nasty.

In 2017 we started work to built new toilets, ones of World Health Organisation standard, with tiled floors that can be cleaned, with hand washing facilities and 'girl friendly'. We also started the process of drilling a borehole and we hope in the next week or so, the solar powered pump will be installed and the water will have FREE water.

Here's a short video so you can see what i am talking about....
